We are excited to be seeking a new priest to lead these two benefices, who have a happy history of working together, in this beautiful, vibrant and historically rich part of North Essex.

We are praying for:

  • A new kind of inspirational, ideas led leadership which is dynamic, positive, full of energy, outward looking and infectious.
  • A focus on growing Churches, accessible for all generations, especially families and seekers.
  • Passion and persistence with humility for God's work and ministry in prayer, spirituality, love, mission and evangelism.
  • Bible, Gospel led teaching for our worship, schools and village communities. Helping people to find and build their Christian faith.

  • A wonderful environment in which you can create a real success story and grow your spiritual and pastoral aspirations.
  • A unique location and transport hub, Marks Tey station, mainline to Liverpool Street 55 minutes, A12, A120, close to the six Churches.
  • Excellent schools; shopping centres within 1-2 miles.
  • A modern (built 2012), energy efficient, four bedroomed Rectory, well stocked garden with greenhouse.
  • Cake at most events!
