 Effective change leadership is a skill that can be learned


Navigating change is a core responsibility of leadership, yet it remains one of the most challenging. 

Effective change leadership is a skill that can be learned. This three-part course is designed for church leaders and those guiding change in their communities. Through biblical foundations, proven change models, and practical application, participants will gain fresh confidence and faith needed to lead impactful change.

Come and connect and be equipped with tools and frameworks to strengthen you on the journey of change.

Discover why change matters

Learn proven change models

Understand framework’s like Kotter’s process, agile thinking, CPAS’ own change model and more to discern the best approach to your context.

Develop influence and momentum

Build a coalition of support, navigate opposition with wisdom, and harness the power of storytelling to inspire your congregation.

Apply learning to real-life change projects

Bring your initiative from your church, gain feedback in a safe place, and develop clear, actionable strategy tailored to your unique challenges.

Strength for the change leaders 

Change is demanding so explore the role of prayer, vulnerability and resilience in leadership, but also essential reliance on the Holy Spirit for sustaining grace.

This course is for churches who are:

 

Planting a new congregation

Driving cultural and missional change by establishing a new worshiping community.

Overseeing a building project

Leading structural transformation to create spaces that enable future ministry.

Launching a new outreach initiative

Introducing innovative approaches to engage and serve the community.

Restructuring of staff team

Implementing organisational change to align roles with evolving vision and priorities.

  • Session 1 Tuesday 21 April 2026
  • Session 2 Tuesday 12 May 2026
  • Session 3 Tuesday 2 June 2026. 

Each day runs from 9.25am to 1.15pm.

All sessions will take place online via Zoom. A joining link will be sent to you before the session.

2-4 people from your church, the incumbent/senior leader plus one other person from your leadership team. You will all need to gather together and share the same screen.

You will be committing to approximately one hour of additional preparation work and engagement with the material outside of the sessions for the duration of the short course as you seek to embed change.

£175 per church.
